This game is definitely a good concept for mobile and I like how you included a shop so that players have a reason to keep playing the game to get new upgrades or trails. The animations for attacks like laser bunnies are clear and give the player enough time to dodge. Some critiques are that it should be clear what purchasing "power ups" does, I thought it would give you the powerup in your inventory next time you play but it wasn't clear that it would actually upgrade that power up. It also isn't clear how many upgrades there are. Also changing the environment in the background would be nice to show visually how far the player got in a better way than just a number like high score.
This game reminds me so much of Jetpack Joyride. The different power-ups, types of bunnies, and obstacles are well done. The sprites are consistent and the music bits well. I would suggest changing the UI keeping track of the score, high score, and number of carrots collected to fit in more with the gameplay.
Anna Teng: this game is very cute and I love the different sprite designs! I also love the idea of being able to earn carrots, save up, and use them in the shop to buy upgrades and trails. I love love the high score system that allows the players to try and beat the best score. One thing to improve is to maybe have a flying animation for the bunny, but the entire athletic of the game is already really great and I really like it!
Remi Vaughan: Really loved this game, very well executed on the underlying idea. Lots of care was clearly put in to make the game not only visually appealing, but also satisfying to control. Also, lots of nice touches with stacking ability sprites and custom trails. The one thing I would change is making the game a bit more forgiving, such as by shrinking the hitboxes or by ensuring that obstacles that don't actually touch the top of the screen can't kill the player. But very nice game overall~
Heejin Jang: Love all the sprites and animations!! The player’s movement is really smooth and well implemented! Oh it’s also cool to see the scene having like which powerup I just collected. Those powerups are all implemented excellently, especially the magnet one.
Shaur Kumar: This is just a solid Jetpack Joyride-esc game that really leans into it's cutesy aesthetic (for the most part). The movement feels clean, the UI is clean, the artwork is clean and the core gameplay loop is basically perfect. For some additions, I suggest a changing background as you go farther into the map, similar to Google Chrome Dinosaur or even Jetpack Joyride, to show progression to the player. I also think being able to purchase more items that affect gameplay directly from the store instead of just powerup upgrades and trails would be awesome. Overall, this game is definitely setup for great success.
Justin Rivera: The sprites and look of the game are super well done! I would just like to see additions to the scrolling background. Since the background is all we have to really look at while playing, seeing something like a parallax effect or changing color themes as you progress would help with the feel of the game. But overall, it's all really well done!
Roger Li:
The game is very good looking in terms of the art, special effects, and animation. I especially like the magnet effects and the rainbow effects (they look really cool). It is also very cool that you guys used PlayerPrefs to store player data persistently, which is obviously very important for mobile games. One thing I didn't like much is the bunny's movement, it feels slow sluggish at times and definitely not as satisfying as I want it to be. I think one way to improve this is to lower the gravity scale or mass of the bunny so it doesn't feel as heavy
Shangyu:
I really like the art style and interactive experience of this game. Each game scene presents a fascinating magical feeling. I appreciate the attention to detail in character design, with each character possessing a unique personality and skill set. Additionally, the game props are very rich, allowing players to obtain different effects through different props, making the game more fun and challenging. When playing this game, it always reminds me of the classic game "Super Jet Fighter" that I played in my childhood, as they both have similar characteristics and charm that are unforgettable. Overall, I think the game's visuals and interactive experience are outstanding, and I enjoy every moment spent playing it.
Jack Liu: It is such a nice game!! I can tell you guys spent a lot of time on it. Especially the beautiful artwork. I have been the fan of the cute bunny since your last game. This game is pretty relaxing, with straight forward operations the let player enjoy. By the way, the power ups are really nice too! The game is both good-looking and interesting.
Nathan Cantu: I really like the art style and the animations. Different environments with more enemies would be welcome. The powerups don't feel super important to me besides the rainbow. I don't care too much about carrots because they just serve as coins that don't do anything. The purchase system is confusing as well because when I buy a power-up I expect to be able to use it whenever I want. Overall the game is fun and well done
Very Cute Game! I really like the rainbow tracks when I make the jump, and this game is really a cure for me, especially during this exhausting final weeks. The overall game design is also really good, for example, you guys layout the carrots in the shape of hearts. The background music and other sound effects are relaxing. I am looking forward to having more Mechanics and power up in this game in the future. To sum up, Great game and Good Job guys!
Nishma: I really like the aesthetics of this game, it's so cute!! I also like how you guys kind of made a sequel to your previous game which is pretty cool. Playing this reminded me of like flappy bird but also the other game with the unicorn. I think the interface was nice and easy to understand, and the controls were also easy to pick up. It would be cool to see like different trails maybe and different mechanics? But overall really liked this game, it's very relaxing :)
Christ: There is no doubt that this is the cutest game that I had ever play. And I love the game and sprites design, especially the different role of rabbits. They got distinct functions like flying with rainbow or jumping so high. I feel so satisfied if I collect all carrots when I play this game. By the way, it reminds me of the dash unicorn game cuz those two work on the same way like rainbow dashing to move faster. Really good work!!!!
Cute theme. I especially like the addition of the trails. Definitely plays into jetpack joyride nostalgia and I'm a sucker for it. Spikes are a little intense and feel out of place. Also I would've like to see actual power-ups instead of just upgrades and aesthetic changes.
Really smooth game. Its so simple but it's effective. I lost track of time when I was playing this game :)
Somethings I thought yall did really well on was the design and the theme. Everything felt super relaxing and chill.
One thing that I wish yall did was if it was a little more clearer how the powerups worked.
Anik Barua: Well done with the game mechanisms. Reminds me of the jetpack joyride and I think it is a nice implementation with the bunny theme. The store feature looks great and I really liked how you can buy different game themes like stars, snow, rainbow effects etc. The rainbow animation and particle effects definitely elevates the game play experience with the background score. Overall great work!
I really like the art style of the game, everything looks simple, but all very well made. Especially the color scheme I think is very good, giving people a sense of peace and relaxation. At the same time, the game's control and gameplay are very intuitive, very easy to get started. I think in this type of game, you have achieved a very perfect level.
